Warhammer 40k 3rd Edition with Epic 40k Figures!

As if playing an older edition of 40k wasn’t retro enough! I decided to play it in Epic 6mm Scale! This means I can buy 19 Eldar Falcons for only $15 on eBay (that’s 3040 points with upgrades). I am currently expecting some off-brand heretics to come in the mail for my two nephews for a Space Marine army. It’s amazing how cheap some of the stuff is. My niece and I will be playing Eldar, because we’re into the pretty minis. I’m hoping to get an Eldar Warhost soon, but I’m short on cash for now. It looks like I’ll have to wait until my next paycheck comes in.

I’ll be sure to post some battle reports when I get the miniatures in the mail. Until then, be sure to check out henafoo on YouTube if you’d like to see an awesome Epic 40k Battle Report.

Warhammer 40k 3rd Edition! (The Big Black Book)

My nephews could not be persuaded into playing fantasy over 40k, so I searched for the cheapest way to get started on the books. I happened to stumble across a video of the 3rd Edition Rulebook, and I was pleased immensely to learn that the book has a set of army lists within it! I ordered the book for $9 off eBay, and now I have all I need (as far as rules go) to play Warhammer 40,000.

The army lists contained in the book are more expansive than I thought they would be and covers all the fun stuff from the army lists presented. The army lists available are: Space Marines, Dark Eldar, Tyranids, Eldar, Chaos Space Marines, Imperial Guard, Orks, Sisters of Battle, and Heroes of the Imperium. I would highly recommend this book for any fan of Warhammer 40,000.

One thing to remember is that this is not the current edition, but I don’t mind that. As long as I have people willing to play against me, I’m fine with playing any edition. Thank you for all of those that view and subscribe, and make sure you come back for more! Don’t forget to leave a comment.
